Being mixed, I often felt out of place in the world and wondered if I was an alien orphan accidentally dropped off on Earth. I didn't fit in with my Japanese family in Nishiwaki, nor did I fit in with my white family spread across the US. Even my parents would look at me with confusion sometimes.

Eventually, I found my tribe in science fiction and my calling in storytelling. I made it my mission to create works encouraging empathy and inclusion that welcome and allow all voices to be heard. Quirky protagonists, misunderstood misfits, and underdog outcasts always have a home in my heart. With each story I tell through acting, I hope to heal a soul, change a mind, and make another little alien child feel less alone on this absurd but wonderful planet.
